dualFaction started out in 2006 as the web design division of Belter Multimedia, a former multimedia development company that is now the holding company for dualFaction. In 2007, we adopted the name dualFaction from a defunct gaming forum run by a friend of the company. Being our first project (and already owning the domain), we decided to keep the name (not to mention that it sounded pretty cool!). It was at this point that dualFaction finally came into being as a separate entity from Belter Multimedia (although we're still owned by them).
